Vent Haven Museum is the only museum in the world that focuses on ventriloquial characters and memorabilia. The collection includes more than a thousand ventriloquist figures from 20 countries and hundreds of photos and other pieces of memorabilia relating to ventriloquism. This includes reproductions of characters that were used in the works of Edgar Bergen, Paul Winchell, and Shari Lewis. They also have authentic pieces used in performances for the likes of Jimmy Nelson, Willie Tyler, Jay Johnson, Terry Fator as well as Jeff Dunham. The museum is located in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, just five miles to the south of Cincinnati. It was opened in 1973. Museum hours are from May 1 through September 30 on appointment only.
